The download files are provided in the popular music file format known as MP3. This file type is the most compatible with computer music players and devices, including Microsoft Windows computers, Google Android devices, and Apple devices such as iPods, iPhones and iPads.
To play the music, you will need some music software on your computer such as iTunes from Apple or Windows Media Player, that can open, play and transfer MP3 files to your portable music device. With this software, you can even make a CD of your music directly from the player software, so you can play it on any regular CD player.
In most cases, playing the music should be a simple process of dragging the downloaded MP3 files into your music software. The software will then copy these into your music library. For more information on how to do this, please see the links below:
Each file can only be downloaded a limited number of times. This is to allow for any technical errors that may arise with the download process. If your music download is listed as "complete" it is indicating that you have already downloaded the file the maximum number of times allowed.
Generally, the download should work the first time, but depending on your Internet Browser, and your computer's settings, the download options may not be obvious, and the file may have been saved in an unexpected location on your computer. This mostly happens with older Internet Explorer browsers on Windows computers. If this is the case for you, when clicking the download button, please choose the "save" option rather than "open" option. This way, you can save the file to a specific folder, or the desktop on your computer.
More modern Internet Browsers such as Google's Chrome, Apple's Safari or Mozilla's Firefox, automatically download the file to a default "Downloads" folder, or the "Desktop" on your computer. Please check there to see if that's where the files have been saved.
If you're still having problems downloading the files, please contact us at: support@definingmomentsalbum.com. We certainly want you to enjoy the music you have purchased!
When you attempt to buy a track you purchased previously, you will receive a warning message before check-out notifying you of this fact. This gives you the opportunity to go to your account page to check and download the track. If you have reached the download limit for the track, and the download option says "complete", by re-purchasing the track, you will regain access to download the file.
If you find yourself in possession of a special discount code, congratulations! You can use the code once only on a single purchase from this website*. The way to redeem your code and get your discount is simple:
* The discount code is not valid for any third party services such as the iTunes music store.
When purchasing the album for download from this website, we require that you setup a user account. This is so you can gain access to your purchased download files. The user account you create only stores the minimum amount of information required to provide secure, individual access. This includes your Name, Email address (which is your account login), and a password. The password you use is encrypted and cannot be viewed or retrieved (If you lose or forget your password, you can reset it using the link provided on the login screen).
The user account is a separate thing from the mailing list. You can join our mailing list without having a user account
You were asked to create a user account when you purchased the full album for download, or individual tracks for download from this site. Your user account is the place where you can download the MP3 files you have purchased, update your account details (email address, password etc) and opt-in or opt-out of the mailing list (which is maintained separately). You can also download the album cover artwork to put into your music software, so the music not only sounds great, but looks great too!
If you have a user account, the simplest way to unsubscribe is to update your account details and deselect the mailing list tick box. Make sure you click the "Update Account" button to save your setting.
If you don't have a user account, or you don't want to login, simply click here to unsubscribe. Enter your email address and click the "unsubscribe" button.
